Looking for more voice over work?

Are you an Australian voice over artist looking to get more voice over work, or are you new to the industry trying to work out how to start off as a voice over? Well we would love to assist you here at Aussie Voices.

We are always looking for more artists to be on our books, as it is important to us that we present our clients with a diverse range of voices for them to choose from. It is also important to us that our artists have the right recording gear and studio setup so that we can ensure great sounding, clean voice recordings at all times.

At the minimum, you'll need a condenser microphone and a USB audio interface, and some kind of recording software. I highly recommend RODE Microphones as they are absolute masters in creating great sounding vocal microphones. They have quite a few options that won't break the bank, but will still deliver a high quality sound. The Australian made NT1A is an affordable entry level option, and also comes with shock mount and pop filter:

Avid Pro Tools is great software, and you can buy bundles that include the software and the USB audio interface together, such as their Mbox Mini range. They can be used on laptops if you're the kind of person who travels a lot, but doesn't want to miss out on work. There are some compatibility conditions though, so be sure to check out the Avid website to make sure your computer and operating system are compatible before buying this software.

If you have some voice over samples and would like us to hear them, then please send them over to us at studio@aussievoices.com.au
